Club Events

The NJPBGRC holds many worthwhile events each year. Some are for our valued members while others are open to all breeds of dogs and their owners. 

Check each one below for complete info.  For many events you must pre-register and there is a cut-off date for entering.  We look forward to seeing you at one of our events!

Annual Heart, Eye and Microchip Clinic

Every February, NJPBGRC hosts an annual eye, heart and microchip clinic and all dog breeds are welcomed to attend for examinations for OFA certification.

Microchip implants are also offered during our clinic. Appointments are required for all services offered during our health clinic.

2019 NJPBGRC Specialty

The Specialty is held in May in conjunction with the Trenton Kennel Club dog show. Specifically for Golden Retrievers, this conformation show, the entered dogs are judged against the breed standard by AKC licensed judges. In addition to best in breed, trophies are awarded for to dogs in categories such as agility, rally, and obedience.
